Thailand’s Most Cultured Workout: Hiking The Monk’s Trail in Chiang Mai

Ever looked for a great way of combining sightseeing, workout, monks and meditation? The Monk’s Trail on the borders of Chiang Mai is your answer!

1,000 feet or 340m elevation gain, passing two incredibly beautiful temples and beating the tourists on the way up to one of Thailand’s most famous sights – the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, hosting Buddha’s shoulder bone.

On the way, you will pass a secluded hidden temple that is right out of an Indiana Jones movie – absolutely beautiful and worth the adventure, especially after having seen the elephants at the Highland Sanctuary!

Watch me here as I spend my favorite morning hiking with monks in Chiang Mai!
